What is your collaboration process like?
Stage 1 Quote stage, involves assessing client requirements, available information, project details, milestones and deadlines.
Stage 2 Consultancy to develop a CGI strategy & approach, with principles agreed upon at the quote stage.
Stage 3 Art direction through exploring precedent imagery and technical work involving 3D modeling and composition exploration.
Stage 4 Focus on producing a series of rendered drafts for client and consultant review.
Stage 5 delivers the final product in the format of your choice.
How long does an average job take?
A typical job for Glass Canvas is approximately 4-5 CGIs where the 3D data is provided. This would be a 10-12 day production schedule for our usual multi stage process (see above). However we can usually meet most deadlines with our resources.
What information do you need for a quote?
Ideally as much as possible including architects 3D Model, Design & Access Statement, 2D planning drawings, or if concept stage then any visual assets available, principle number and type of CGIs required (although we can advise) and the deadline.
