In
a reversal of the normal architectural visualisation process, we were asked by
Argent to produce a life-size trompe l’oeil that instead of being used to aid
the creation of a building would in fact be the building itself. As Lewis Cubitt
Park forms the principal green space in the King’s Cross development, it followed
that the viewing platform should reflect both the natural and urban nature of
its surroundings - a contemporary tree house set within a verdant forest.
Using our skills as visualisers and designers, we created a
CGI that combined the two dimensional composition of traditional visualisation
while also responding to the three dimensionality of the viewing platform.
