Elevating passenger engagement

The £110 million redevelopment project required CGIs, animation and 360 VR content that would promote the completed project.

The transformation plans will increase capacity at Luton Airport by 50 per cent to 18 million passengers per year by 2020.

Client: London Luton Airport

Working with the LLA internal communications team we were able to plan the imagery to suit their requirements for a PR & marketing campaign.

The CGI package presented a passenger's experience of arriving and moving through the new facilities, from improved approach road and drop off area through to arrival hall and new retail spaces.

The production of a short animation to give passengers a sense of the arrival experience was a critical part of the communication package. A calming soundtrack along with atmospheric audio cues was created to complete the 90 second piece.

By creating 360 content for Samsung Gear VR headsets, LLA were able to engage directly with passenger's, in house teams, consultants and stakeholders.

The 360 content was also shared on social media, extending the PR message.
