Glass Canvas has a studio of talented artists from a variety of backgrounds. This helps us approach projects and create solutions from all creative angles. Our small team of core staff are supported by collaborating with industry specialists such as architectural photographers, videographers and graphic designers.

Andrew Goodeve – Managing Director

Andrew obtained a degree in Product Design in 1997 where he specialised in the styling of consumer goods. Andrew is responsible for all aspects of the business from creative direction, film production, project management and business development.

Favourite project: “Downshire Hill, we decided to turn the tables by employing an interior designer to work with us to develop the visuals for marketing purposes. A very challenging but rewarding project. “

Famous person you last saw? “Neneh Cherry at our local cafe!”

Bill Nuttall – Director

Following a degree in architecture from Kingston Bill received a post graduate degree in Architecture from The University of Cape Town. Bill has the ability to take the most abstract of architectural concepts and turn them into credible 3D creations. Bill leads project teams and also manages the studio IT infrastructure. Bill was made director of the business in 2010.

Obscure fact: “As a result of being forced to learn a rhyme when I was 11 years old, I can name all the Kings and Queens of Britain, in order, from 1066 to the present day!”

Maher Zebian – Senior 3D Visualisation Artist

Maher has been with Glass Canvas since 2002 after gaining an MA in Computer Arts. Originally from Beirut, Maher is instrumental in supporting our Middle Eastern clients. Maher also holds a BSc Honours Degree in Architecture which ensures that we can speak our client’s language on multiple levels.

Favourite project: “Medini pitch because it involved all aspects of 3D visualisation in one custom built application.”

Gerard Gannon – Senior 3D Visualisation Artist

Gerard has a BA(Hons) degree in Animation and has been with Glass Canvas since 2007. Gerard develops storyboards and written treatments for the moving image projects in the studio. Gerard combines the unusual mix of technical ability and artistry which is projected in the work that we produce.

Simone Cabras – 3D Visualisation Artist

Simone is another long standing member of the team. Having studied Surveying and topography and then completing a 3ds Max course at Westminster University Simone joined us in 2006. Simone’s favourite project so far is Moor Place where it was a team effort to create a compelling animation.

Fact: Simone likes wine! And knows a bit about it too having previously worked for a wine merchant.
